Join us in celebrating the lives and deaths of two of the early twentieth centuries most enigmatic figures in the lush and atmospheric surroundings of “Dane Certificate's Magic Tricks, Gags & Theatre”.
What have a legendary performer and a nepotistic horror writer got in common, aside from a love of the mysterious? Lovecraft ghostwrote Harry Houdini’s rumoured experiences in Egypt, 1924's ‘Under the Pyramids’ and they worked on several other writings together.
The night will include…
- A showing of several Cthulhu mythos inspired films including the B&W silent movie of Call of Cthulhu from 2005.
- Readings of Lovecraft and Houdini’s works
- Movies of death defying stunts from the sensational Harry Houdini.
- Houdini inspired tricks from Dane Certificate.
- Resurrecting songs from dusty attics, Apple Ida provides musical interludes of hits from the roaring 20s.

$10 in advance, $15 on the night
